Calypso Business Analyst | Front Office

Key Responsibilities

• Requirement Analysis: Work with front office stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for trading and risk management systems.

• Solution Design: Design and propose solutions that leverage the Calypso platform to meet business needs. Ensure solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with best practices.

• System Implementation: Lead the implementation of Calypso solutions, including configuration, customization, and integration with other systems.

• Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans to ensure that implemented solutions meet business requirements and function as expected. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) with front office stakeholders.

• Support and Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support for the Calypso platform, addressing user issues, troubleshooting problems, and implementing fixes as needed.

• Training and Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for system processes and configurations. Provide training to front office users on new features and enhancements.

• Collaboration: Work closely with IT, risk management, and other departments to ensure seamless integration and operation of the Calypso platform.

• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimizations. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in financial technology.
  

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in the financial services industry.

  • Extensive experience working with the Calypso platform, specifically in front office environments.

• Skills:

  • Strong understanding of financial markets, trading workflows, and risk management practices.

  • Experience of setting up FX, Money Market and Rates products in Calypso.

  • Proficiency in Calypso configuration, pricing environment setup, customization, and integration.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases.
